November 10

November seems unforgiving with sunshine, where steel gray skies and low ceiling clouds predominate more often than not. When the bright rays do appear, set now at a low angle and diffusely yellow on even the most clear day, they reveal a woods which is largely brown, save for the evergreens here and there.

November can be a bleak transition from the splendor of October till the crisp and clean snows of December arrive.
